Howie Long Visibly Nervous as Terry Bradshaw Attempts to Pronounce Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Seattle – Howie Long has asked Fox executives for a dump button as he grows increasingly concerned with what he calls the “inevitable and ultimately horrific mispronunciation” by Terry Bradshaw of Seattle wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s name. NFL legend Bradshaw, known for his quick recaps of gameday action during Halftime of the Sunday noon slate, has been a FOX staple for over 3 decades. In recent years, it has become apparent that he is slowing down a bit as he goes through the highlights, which is to be expected of a man who has taking as many hits as Bradshaw has in his career. Having been born and raised in Louisiana, Bradshaw has the “deep rooted southern redneckery that can lead to him saying something incredibly unfortunate if no steps are taken”, according to fellow broadcaster Howie Long. “I have seen him eat crawdads raw and refer to our interns, even the white ones, as Orientals on several occasions” Long continued, asking for anonymity (which was obviously ignored).

FOX, who has no issue with casual and oftentimes apparent racism, has been open to Long’s request as they are hoping to avoid a repeat of the incidents that lead to Jimmy Johnson retiring last year. “I don’t know how many more times we can avoid a lawsuit at this rate” said an unnamed executive producer. The producer, who previously worked at their news division, continued on that they could only hear the word ‘boy’ 15-16 more times before they would eventually pretend to care. Currently, Bradshaw is being allowed to continue covering highlights at halftime, but the unnamed source said that they would reevaluate if an NFL team drafts Eastern Michigan Linebacker, Noah Knigga.
